Transforming for MissionsSt Luke has now met with the Consultation Team. Details of the Consultation Weekend, including the Consultation Team final report and its five prescriptions, can be found on our wiki.
The next step will occur at the Voters Meeting on January 29, 2012. We will determine ways in which we can have members ask questions and provide comments. We will need to either accept or reject the recommendations of the Final Report by February 19.

Glenn Schaeffer presented a new
process being sponsored by ABC District called "Transforming for Missions",
or T4M. It addresses the issue of declining church membership and a strategy
to take God's promise of salvation into our community. Members have accepted
an invitation to have a consultative team come to St Luke to evaluate our strengths
and weaknesses as a church, and to prescribe five action plans that will help
change the focus of St Luke activities and make us more relevant in our community.
If you would like to learn more about T4M, you can visit our ABC District site or visit our wiki that provides a summary of Dr
Schaeffer's presentation. You can also join a discussion on the wiki.
A special T4M bible study series was led by Pastor Govaski in September.

Council will ask for approval of a policy on posting and publishing photographs at our next Voters meeting. You can review the policy on our wiki or posted on the bulletin board.
