The Men's Breakfast group meets at 8 a.m. on the last Saturday of each
month in the Church library (except in July and August). Group members
prepare breakfast on a volunteer basis, and it is always worth rising early
to enjoy it. We finish at 10 a.m. to allow family time for the men attending.
The objective of the breakfast meetings is to provide a forum for men to discuss issues and challenges in a confidential environment. The smaller group setting (normally 7-9 people) allows for active sharing, encouragement, and support.
The group is currently working through the book Wild at Heart by John Eldredge, one chapter at a time. The book provides ideas to discuss and implement, and lends a structure to discussion. Prayer is also an active part of this group's time together.
The breakfast takes place at St Luke on the last Saturday of each month (or as otherwise scheduled) at 9.00 a.m. Enjoy a light continental style breakfast and fellowship with other women as we share and study God's Word (using the series, "Women in Faith").
