Lutheran Laymen's League (Tri L)
Purpose
To serve our God wherever and whenever He directs us.
We share the purpose of the International Lutheran Hour Ministries which is to bring Christ to the Nations and the Nations to Christ.
Meeting times
Fourth Tuesday of each month, 10:30am, church library. There are no meetings in July, August and September.
Meetings consist of Bible study,short business meeting followed by fellowship withsnacks and beverages.
Service to St Luke
Dinners served before Lenten service in spring. Soup and sandwiches served before Advent services. Free-will offering received at these meals and proceeds assist in projects for St Luke
The Small Change bucket is a monthly fundraiser, used for specific projects such as:
- Lutheran Hour brochures for distribution
- Purchases for Christmas for Hampers
- Non perishable items for the food bank
